REGISTRATION COSTS

Registration for ELEVATE 2008 is filling up quickly!  The conference registration rate for ELEVATE 2008 is $475 and includes:

  • Admission to the conference, all conference workshops and sessions on August 25, 26, and 27, and conference materials
  • Breakfast daily, lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, banquet dinner on Tuesday, and the opening reception on Sunday
  • Break refreshments for 3 days

What is ELEVATE 2008?

Join participants from around the world to share experiences and explore future directions in the use of video-conferencing and related technologies to support teaching and learning.

What can I expect from ELEVATE 2008?

The conference will feature leading-edge keynotes, hands-on workshops, interactive concurrent sessions, live educational demonstrations by IP video-conference, discussions with key industry leaders, and an educational technology exhibit.

More specifically, the goals of the conference are to:

  • inform key decision-makers, practitioners, researchers and government representatives of the research-based essential conditions for the successful implementation of advanced learning technologies.
  • disseminate current promising practices (pedagogical, technical, environmental) in the use of video-conferencing and related technologies.
  • further the skills, knowledge and experiences of participants and the field to catalyze growth in the use of advanced networks for education.
  • and improve the understanding of educational and technical issues related to connecting learners over global IP-based networks.
