What to Wear to a VideoconferenceHow you choose to dress is a very important consideration in a videoconference. You should dress as you would for a face to face meeting. Extremely bright colors and highly reflective articles of clothing should be avoided, as they are exaggerated through the camera. Before you enter the videoconference session, do a quick personal grooming check. If you are wearing a collared shirt make sure the collar is flat and pressed. If you are going to be using the document camera, examine your hands beforehand to ensure that they are neatly manicured and well kept. Make sure your shirt buttons and any other articles such as zippers are done up. There are other certain things to be avoided in particular situations, and some things to be avoided all together.
